01/05/2009 | STEVE SHIELDS | ZONING | REVIEW | Denied | DSD TRANSMITTAL FROM: Steve Shields Lead Planner PROJECT: Griffin Foundation - Expansion T08CM03859 Site Plan (4th Review) TRANSMITTAL DATE: January 5, 2009 COMMENTS: Please resubmit revised drawings and a response letter, which states how all Zoning Review Section comments regarding the Land Use Code and Development Standards were addressed. 1. This site plan was reviewed for compliance with the City of Tucson Development Standards (D.S.) and Land Use Code (LUC) for full code compliance for the effected areas. 2. Zoning acknowledges that a Special Exception has been approved; provide the Special Exception number, date of approval and any conditions on the plan. 3. Per the response letter "ALL PARKING AREA ACCESS LANES (PAALS) ARE ONE-WAY", demonstrate on the plan how the one-way PAALs will be controlled, i.e. signage, pavement marking, etc. Also both entrance PAALs off of Alvernon Way are labeled as "ENTERNACE PAALS", again if these PAALs are to be two-way than the proposed gates must be twenty-four (24) feet wide clear. If these are to be one-way provide signage and or pavement markings directing traffic. 4. Once the above comment has been addressed Zoning is willing to provide an over-the-counter review. Please call or email to schedule an appointment for this review. If you have any questions about this transmittal, please contact me at Steve.Shields@tucsonaz.gov or (520) 837-4956.
