TRANSMITTAL DATE: October 14, 2008

1. The building plan has been reviewed by Zoning Review Section but cannot approve the plan until all zoning comments or concerns have been addressed.

2. Zoning could not verify that the building plan was in compliance with the approved site plan. Please submit two copies of the approved and stamped site, landscape, and NPPO plans with the next building plan submittal.

3. Zoning will re-review the building plan on the next submittal to insure compliance with the approved and stamped site plan. Additional comments may be forthcoming.

10/14/2008 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Denied 1. Section R4-30-304 of the Rules of the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration, states that a notation shall be placed beneath the seal, either written, typed, or electronically generated, that provides the day, month, and year of the expiration of current registration. (Effective March 8, 2008).
2. Provide energy code compliance calculations for the new building addition using the correct location (Pima County <4,000 ft, not Pima, Arizona). Reference: Section 101.4, International Energy Conservation Code 2006.
3. Provide structural calculations to verify that the roof is capable of supporting the additional dead load due to the installation of the roof top unit, RTU-1. Reference: Section 302.1, IMC 2006
4. Show that the termination point for the condensate drain from RTU-1 is to an area that will accommodate the condensate with no surface runoff. Reference: Section 307.2.1, IMC 2006, as amended by the City of Tucson.
5. Provide an auxiliary drain pan or secondary drain system for HP-1. Reference: Section 307.2.3 IMC 2006.

5. Provide a detail of the installation of the WH-4 units, including the means being used to control thermal expansion.
6. Justify the installation of a cap on the vent for the existing backwash drain. Reference: Section 103.2.3, UPC 2006.
7. Provide roof drainage calculations and plans. Provide sizing information for the roof scuppers and downspouts. Provide overflow protection for the roof. Reference: Sections 1101.11 and 1106.0, UPC 2006.
