1. The building plan has been reviewed by Zoning Review Section but cannot approve the plan until all zoning comments or concerns have been addressed.

2. Zoning could not verify that the building plan was in compliance with the stamped approved tentative plat/development plan. Please submit two copies of the stamped approved tentative plat/development plan, landscape, and NPPO plans with the next building plan submittal. Zoning may not be able to approve the building plan until the final plat has been approved.

3. Zoning will re-review the building plan on the next submittal to insure compliance with the approved and stamped site plan. Additional comments may be forthcoming.

The size calculation for the thermal expansion tank for water heaters WH-1 and WH-2 uses a final temperature of 110 degrees Fahrenheit and a relief valve setting of 80 PSI. Detail 16/P-3 shows an operating temperature of 140 degrees Fahrenheit and does not indicate the presence of a secondary relief valve set for 80 PSI. (The standard T&P valve supplied with the water heater is set for 212 degrees Fahrenheit and 150 PSI.) Coordinate the drawings and the calculations. Reference: Section 103.2.3, UPC 2006.
2. Cleanouts shall be sized per Table 7-6, UPC 2006. Each change in pipe size for which the required cleanout size is different must be provided with a cleanout of the proper size. (e.g. see the drain pipe running under room 140; the cleanout for the drinking fountain is for a 3" pipe but there is no cleanout provided where the pipe transitions to a 4" pipe) Reference: Section 707.11, UPC 2006.

(The water calculations also utilize the pressure drop of a double check valve assembly and not a reduced pressure backflow preventer assembly. Provide a site drawing showing the size and route of the building water supply along with the location and size of both the water meter and the required reduced pressure backflow preventer assembly.
