SUMMARY: Development Services Department Engineering Division has reviewed the revised drainage statements, revised site and grading plan sheets, and response letter. Engineering recommends approval of the site/grading plans.

GRADING PERMIT CONDITIONS:
The following conditions apply to the grading permit T08BU01943:
1) Call for DSD Engineering Inspection meetings. For a DSD Engineering Inspection, call IVR (740-6970), or schedule with a Customer Service Representative at the Development Services Department, or contact DSD Engineering at 837-4888, or schedule inspections online at: http://www.ci.tucson.az.us/dsd/Online_Services/Online_Permits/online_permits.html
2) A copy of the approved Grading Plan and Permit shall be kept at the site at all times, until final grading approval.
3) Construction activity, vehicular / material storage / disturbance area shall not exceed Grading limits within the parcel boundary limits.
4) Contact Permits and Codes (837-6606) for any questions regarding City of Tucson right-of-way permit requirements.
5) Engineer of Record should be consulted for any revisions to the plans. Proposed revisions to the design must be discussed with a Civil Engineer at the City of Tucson Development Services Department Engineering Division, prior to any construction activity, to determine whether additional details, calculations, drainage report, or a revised grading plan is needed. All work completed without approval is subject to Stop Work Order.
6) If grading construction is expected to last longer than the expiration date of the grading permit, contact DSD to renew/extend the Grading Permit. If Final Grading Inspection has not been completed before the Grading Permit expires, and the permit has not been renewed, additional fees and reviews may be required.
7) Prior to request for final inspection approval, any outstanding fees shall be paid.
8) Call for DSD Engineering special inspection of reconstructed humps at entrances.
9) Separate building permit applications are required for any walls.
10) The permitee shall notify the DSD when the grading operation is ready for final grading inspection. Final grading approval shall not be given until all work, including installation of all drainage-related improvements and their permanent protective devices, and all permanent erosion control measures have been completed in accordance with the approved grading plan and grading permit, and all conditions of permit are completed.
11) All areas that are disturbed due to the construction activity for this project shall be stabilized with asphaltic pavement, concrete sidewalk, landscaping, established revegetation, or gravel.
