PLAN REVIEW FOR THE ABOVE REFERENCED STRUCTURE HAS BEEN COMPLETED. THIS LETTER REFLECTS COMMENTS TO BE ADDRESSED. IN ORDER TO FACILITATE A SHORTER BACK CHECK TIME, WE REQUEST THAT YOU PLEASE PROVIDE REVISED PLANS AND CALCULATIONS, HIGHLIGHTING ANY CHANGES, ALONG WITH A WRITTEN RESPONSE TO EACH OF THE NOTED ITEMS INDICATING ACTION TAKEN.

SCOPE OF REVIEW:

THE SCOPE OF THIS PLAN REVIEW COVERS ARCHITECTURAL, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, IECC AND ELECTRICAL CODES. ALL CODE REFERENCES ARE TO THE 2006 IRC OR STATE PLUMBING CODE. ALL FEATURES WERE CHECKED ONLY TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY THE SUBMITTALS PROVIDED. ALL PORTIONS OF THIS PROJECT ARE ASSUMED TO MEET OR WILL MEET OTHER DEPARTMENTAL REQUIREMENTS, CONDITIONS AND CONCERNS BEFORE PERMIT APPROVAL.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. ALL PLANS SHALL BE LEGIBLE AND A SCALE NO SMALLER THAN ΒΌ INCH = 1-FOOT SHALL BE USED
FOR ALL FLOOR PLANS, FRAMING PLANS AND ELEVATIONS. DETAILS &CROSS SECTIONS AT A MINIMUM 3/8 INCH = 1-FOOT SCALE.

2. ALL CORRECTIONS AND REVISIONS SHALL BE MADE ON THE ORIGINAL TRACINGS AND TWO NEW SETS OF PRINTS OR (1) SEPIA & (1) BLUE LINE SHALL BE RETURNED ALONG WITH ALL REDLINE PRINTS.

3. PEN OR PENCIL CORRECTIONS ON FINAL PRINTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTABLE. TO AVOID DELAYS ENSURE ALL CORRECTIONS HAVE BEEN MADE, ARE COMPLETE AND HAVE BEEN COORDINATED ON ALL APPLICABLE DETAILS AND NOTES.

SITE PLAN:

1. THE 5'-4" WALL SOUTHEAST OF THE NEW BEDROOM #1's S.E. CORNER AS SHOWN ON SHEET A1 DIFFERS FROM THE LAYOUT SHOWN ON THE SITE PLAN. PLEASE RESOLVE.

1. SHOW THAT THE NEW WATER CLOSET IS LOCATED IN A CLEAR SPACE NOT LESS THAN 30" WIDE AND HAS A
CLEAR SPACE IN FRONT OF NOT LESS THAN 21" PER R307.1 (FIGURE).

A 1" WATER METER IS REQUIRED FOR THE 1-1/4" WATER LINE. @ 150'. PLEASE SPECIFY THE WATER METER SIZE.ON SHEET P1 .

2. PLEASE ADD A NOTE TO ADD WATER HAMMER ARRESTORS ON FAST ACTING VALVES. i.e. CLOTHES WASHER, WATER CLOSETS, ICE MAKERS, ETC. SEE P2903.5

3. PLUMBING NOTES / P1 ; PLEASE USE ONLY ONE PLUMBING CODE. THE PLUMBING NOTES REFER TO THE UPC WHILE THE FIXTURE UNIT COUNT COMES FROM THR IRC. ONE CODE OR THE OTHER, PLEASE.

5. SIZE THE WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM.

6. WASTE ISOMETRIC RISER PLAN / P2 ; PLEASE RAISE THE REVENTS ABOVE THE TRAPS. DO YOU NEED THE RE-VENTS WITH ALL THE VTRs ?

MECHANICAL PLANS:

1. THE ONE MECHANICAL UNIT SHOWN WILL PROVIDE CONDITIONED AIR FOR ONE ROOM. SHOW HOW THE REST OF THE HOUSE IS HEATED AND COOLED.

ELECTRICAL PLANS:

1. PLEASE INCLUDE THE ENTIRE HOUSE IN THE LOAD CALCULATIONS.

2. JUSTIFY 1500 WATTS FOR THE WATER HEATER IN THE LOAD CALCULATIONS.

3. PLEASE INCLUDE THE A/C AFTER THE 40% REDUCTION IN THE LOAD CALCULATIONS.

4. PROVIDE A RECEPTACLE WITHIN 6' OF THE NEW BATH'S DOOR ON THE BEDROOM SIDE OF THE WALL. SEE E3801.2.1

5. PROVIDE A RECEPTACLE FOR THE SOUTH YARD . SEE E3801.7

6. PLEASE REVISE THE NOTES REGARDING THE HOMEOWNER CHANGING LIGHT FIXTURES TO ASSURE THE CHANGES ARE MEDE ONLY BEFORE THE FINAL ELECTRICAL INSPECTION IS MADE.

7. PROVIDE ARC-FAULT PROTECTION FOR ALL BED ROOM OUTLETS. SEE E3802.12

8. DELETE ONE OF THE ELECTRICAL SERVICES.

9. WHY TWO ELECTRIC LOAD CALCULATIONS. CONSOLIDATE AND HAVE ONE SERVICE FOR THE SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE. SHOW THE LOCATION OF ANY SUB-PANELS.

10. CLARIFY "NEW TOTAL:" OF TWO AMPERAGE ON SHEET E1.

11. ELECTRICAL 1-LINE DIAGRAM / E2 ; PLEASE REVISE THE 10,000 AMP FAULT CURRENT TO REPRESENT THE LESS THAN 22,000 AMPS MENTIONED IN TUCSON ELECTRIC'S LETTER SIGNED BY KATHY CLARK AND DATED 5/14/08.
