Constitution Applicant: Joe Wittmann Plan review for the above referenced structure has been completed. This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. SCOPE OF REVIEW: The scope of this plan review includes architectural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and energy conservation. The purpose of this review is to verify compliance to the 2006 International Residential Code with local amendments. Other comment references may be derived from additional codes and standards adopted by The City of Tucson. All features have been checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided for review. All portions of this project are assumed to meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Provide two copies of the corrected set of drawings (no clouds or revision numbers please) along with a set of the first submission (cloud corrections on this set please). All corrections and revisions shall be made on original tracings or finished reproducible set. Pen or pencil corrections on final prints will not be acceptable. To avoid delays, ensure that all corrections have been made, are complete, and have been coordinated on all applicable detail and note sheets. 2. Any architect and/or engineer involved in the design of the structure shall seal the related sheets of plans, details and calculations in accordance with the rules of the State Board of Technical Registration. 3. Page A-6 removed from plan. Replace missing page or remove from sheet index on cover. STRUCTURAL PLANS: 4. Submit all structural calculations by the engineer of record (sealed structural calculations were not received). 5. Provide engineer calculations for all walls exceeding 10 feet in height, Table R603.3.2(4). PLUMBING PLAN: 6. Specify the code regulating the plumbing design (2006 IBC does not apply to plumbing). 7. Size the water supply line according to the proposed demand, UPC Table 6-6 (Tucson Water has specified a minimum working pressure of 52psi. Minimum 1ΒΌ" water supply line needed from meter for distance specified.) MECHANICAL PLAN: 8. Ducts penetrating the walls or ceiling separating the dwelling unit from the garage shall have no openings into the garage, R309.1.1. ELECTRICAL PLAN: 9. Show receptacle outlets at each kitchen counter space wider than 12" so that no point along the wall line is more than 24" from a receptacle outlet (architectural floor plan specifies a kitchenette in the master bedroom), E3801.4.1. OUTDOOR LIGHTING CODE 10. Include all lighting on property (new and existing) in outdoor lighting calculation, OLC 3.1.2. Provide cut sheets for all FCO fixtures showing the angle of cutoff, light emissions and fixture wattage. All other fixtures are assumed to be unshielded (non-FCO style).
