IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS.

1. Provide load calculations for the large distribution panel and the SES. THIS COMMENT WAS MADE ON THE REVIEW OF 2/1/08. Existing load for HVAC at the 800A distribution panel, for 16160 SF, is 11971VA, or 33A. Please provide inventory, as this number appears low.
2. Existing load for HVAC at the entire service, for a total of 30070 SF, is the same 11971VA, or 33A. Provide inventory.
3. Proposed HVAC on the SES is said to be 10VA per SF, or (10) (30070), would be 300,700VA, not 11971. But this would add 835A at 120/208. Please clarify.
4. Address the grounding requirements per NEC 250.32 Second Building/Structure. THIS COMMENT WAS MADE ON THE REVIEW OF 2/1/08. This also effects bringing the power back to the two-story building to power the elevator. No copy of record drawings with this submittal.
5. Address the disconnecting means and number of supplies for this Second Building per NEC 225 Part II. THIS COMMENT WAS MADE ON THE REVIEW OF 2/1/08. New Panel E is part of existing one-story building, which already has electrical power. This MLO panel illegal. This also effects bringing the power back to the two-story building to power the elevator.
6. Elevator Room lighting and receptacle shall be on the same electrical circuit. Reference NEC 620.23 (A). THIS COMMENT WAS MADE ON THE REVIEW OF 2/1/08. Please remove Fixture B from this "separate" branch circuit.
7. Provide for the branch circuit/s as necessary per NEC 620.22. THIS COMMENT WAS MADE ON THE REVIEW OF 2/1/08. Overcurrent device protecting this branch circuit shall be located in elevator machine room. This will of course pose challenges with respect to NEC 225 Part II.
8. Locate disconnecting means for elevator light and receptacle according to the requirements of NEC 620.53.
9. Show the location of Panel A.
10. Demonstrate compliance with NEC 620.51.
