GRADING PERMIT CONDITIONS: The following 14 conditions apply to the grading permit: 1) A COPY OF THE GRADING PLAN AND GRADING PERMIT SHALL BE KEPT AT THE SITE AT ALL TIMES, UNTIL FINAL GRADING APPROVAL. 2) CALL FOR PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETING. FOR A DSD ENGINEERING INSPECTION, CALL IVR (740-6970), OR SCHEDULE WITH A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE AT THE DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT, OR CONTACT DSD ENGINEERING AT 791-5550 EXTENSION 2101, OR SCHEDULE INSPECTIONS ONLINE AT: HTTP://WWW.CI.TUCSON.AZ.US/DSD/ONLINE_SERVICES/ONLINE_PERMITS/ONLINE_PERMITS.HTML 3) CALL DSD ENGINEERING INSPECTOR FOR SPECIAL INSPECTION THAT IS REQUIRED FOR WEST INTERCEPTOR SWALE. SEE DRAINAGE STATEMENT PREPARED BY PAUL NZOMO DATED 6/3/08. 4) CALL DSD ENGINEERING INSPECTOR FOR SPECIAL INSPECTIONS FOR ANY CUT-OFF WALLS OR TOEDOWN STRUCTURES. 5) SPECIAL GEOTECHNICAL INSPECTION IS REQUIRED FOR CUT SLOPE AT WEST SIDE OF PROJECT. PROVIDE GEOTECHNICAL REPORT STATEMENT TO DSD ENGINEERING CIVIL ENGINEER REVIEWER OR DSD ENGINEERING INSPECTOR. CALL DSD ENGINEERING INSPECTOR TO BE AT THE SITE DURING THIS SPECIAL INSPECTION. 6) ALL DISTURBED AREAS SHALL BE LANDSCAPED, RESEEDED, OR GROUNDSCAPED WITH ROCK MATERIAL, UNLESS ACCEPTED BY GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER, FOR EROSION PROTECTION. 7) EROSION PROTECTION SHALL BE PROVIDED IN THE FORM OF CURB HEADER, RIP RAP WITH FILTER FABRIC, OR GROUTED RIP RAP AT BOTH ENDS OF CULVERT ALONG DRIVEWAY TO ASSURE PERMANENT EROSION PROTECTION. 8) FIELD ADJUSTMENT MAY BE REQUIRED TO ASSURE THAT ALL INTERCEPTOR SWALES, RETAINING WALLS, SLOPE RUNOUT AND OTHER GRADING CONSTRUCTION DISTURBANCE IS LOCATED WITHIN THE 2-FT OFFSET FROM LOT PROPERTY LINES. 9) SURVEYOR SHALL VERIFY BENCHMARK TO ASSURE CORRECT DATUM IS USED FOR PROJECT CONSTRUCTION. 10) ANY REVISION TO THE GRADING PLAN MAY REQUIRE A RE-SUBMITTAL OF A REVISED GRADING PLAN FOR REVIEW. CONTACT DSD ENGINEERING AT 791-5550 TO DISCUSS CHANGES IN GRADING DESIGN. 11) IF GRADING CONSTRUCTION IS EXPECTED TO LAST LONGER THAN THE EXPIRATION DATE OF THE GRADING PERMIT, CONTACT DSD TO RENEW/EXTEND THE GRADING PERMIT. IF FINAL GRADING INSPECTION HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED BEFORE THE GRADING PERMIT EXPIRES, AND THE PERMIT HAS NOT BEEN RENEWED, ADDITIONAL FEES AND REVIEWS MAY BE REQUIRED. 12) THERE SHALL BE NO DISTURBANCE OUTSIDE OF THE DISTURBANCE/GRADING LIMITS AS SHOWN ON THE APPROVED PLAN. 13) SEPARATE BUILDING PERMIT APPLICATIONS / REVIEWS ARE REQUIRED FOR ANY WALLS. 14) THE PERMITEE SHALL NOTIFY THE DSD WHEN THE GRADING OPERATION IS READY FOR FINAL GRADING INSPECTION. FINAL GRADING APPROVAL SHALL NOT BE GIVEN UNTIL ALL WORK, INCLUDING INSTALLATION OF ALL DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS AND THEIR PERMANENT PROTECTIVE DEVICES, AND ALL EROSION CONTROL MEASURES HAVE BEEN COMPLETED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPROVED GRADING PLAN AND GRADING PERMIT, AND ALL CONDITIONS OF PERMIT ARE COMPLETED.
