Summary: Engineering Division has reviewed the revised grading plan package. Engineering recommends approval of the grading permit application. The following conditions apply to the grading permit.

GRADING PERMIT CONDITIONS:
The following 6 conditions apply to grading permit T08BU00801:
1) Besides pre-con, intermediate, and final inspections, call DSD Engineering Inspector for subsurface construction inspections.
2) There shall be no disturbance outside of the approved disturbance/grading limits.
3) Area next to south side of building shall be impervious material and provide positive drainage from structure per callout 1 on grading plan sheet C101 sht1.
4) Permanent and adequate erosion protection and energy dissipation is required for any disturbed areas unless the geotechnical engineer has accepted areas such as cut face rock areas as determined in field investigations per Terracon geotechnical report.
5) Call for special inspections from Geotechnical Engineer for cut excavation activities.
6) Prior to final grading inspection approval, a Geotechnical Engineering Field Report must be submitted to City of Tucson Development Services Department Engineering Division to address field observations and acceptance of rear cut slopes.
