A copy of the geotechnical report was received 14JAN09. Development Services Department Engineering has reviewed the received items and does not recommend approval of the Grading Plan until the remaining comments are addressed. GRADING PLAN COMMENTS: 1) Provide off-site easement on the plan for proposed north improvements, with the recordation information, dimension and labeled purpose of easement. 2) On sheet 2, address the remaining comments: a) Revise 2497 contour line along bottom of basin areas that reflect a minimum of 1% slope within basin bottom for positive drainage toward bleeder pipe. 3) On sheet 4 address the remaining comments: a) Add maximum longitudinal slope labels for accessible ramp information from landing to top of sidewalk. b) Provide minimum size DG for side slopes for basin detail section A-A. DG minus in general has been found to be sand-like or smaller in size and provides no slope protection with regards to erosion protection. 4) The SWPPP does not meet the minimum requirements of the current AzPDES Construction General Permit (CGP). Revise the SWPPP according to the remaining comments: a) Provide Certification Statements with signatures for the operators in the SWPPP Report. At minimum, one operator, either the engineer of record or the project manager as listed on the bottom of the second page of the NOI shall sign one of the forms / operator certifications. One sheet was provided and no signature line was indicated. b) Delineate and label revised project grading limits on plan, if no offsite construction easement is provided for northwest offsite area proposed for new pavement. 5) Resubmittal is required. Submit the resubmittal package to the permit clerks under T08BU00759 including: a) 2 copies of the revised grading plan. b) 2 copies of the revised SWPPP c) 1 copy of Geotechnical report and any addenda. d) 1 copy of drainage report. e) 1 final Drainage Report CD f) 1 copy of the approved Development Plan. g) 1 copy of Landscape Plan sheets. h) Response letter. Resubmittal is required. The next submittal should address all the above items. Submit the revised Grading Plan package.
