Camino Seco Road Grading Plan T08BU00374 (First Review) T14S, R15E, Section 09 RESUBMITTAL REQUIRED: Grading Plan, Drainage Report. The Grading Plan (GP) and Drainage Report (DR) cannot be approved as submitted. Please address the following review comments prior to the next submittal. Grading Plan: 1. Please include a response letter to the comments along with the corrected copies of the GP. 2. As per the Federal ADA requirements, all wheel chair ramps shall have the truncated domes instead of the standard grooves that are shown on COT SD 207. Aside from the Truncated Domes, all wheel chair ramps shall be constructed in accordance with COT SD 207. 3. This site is affected by the City of Tucson flood Hazard areas and is subject to Chapter 29 of the City of Tucson flood plain ordinance. 4. A flood plain use permit will be required for the work being done in the City of Tucson flood hazard area. 5. The GP cannot be approved prior to the plain use permit. The FUP can be submitted in conjunction with the GP. 6. Add the following notes to the grading plan: " "The approved Grading Plan is the only acceptable construction plan onsite. The Contractor may not use any other plans, such as the approved Tentative Plat and/or Development Plan, for construction purposes. The Contractor may ask the Development Services Inspector to consult with the other approved plans for additional information or details that might not be included on the approved grading plan but needed for completion of work." " "Any engineering work to be done below grade (i.e. toe-downs, cutoff walls, drainage pipes/structures, etc.) shall not be back filled until Development Services Inspector inspects the work and approves it." 7. Correct Grading note no. 5 to …….11-01.0 Excavation and Grading. 8. Add note: "Depress all landscaped areas a maximum of 6" for water harvesting". 9. List administrative address/site address on plans. 10. List the City of Tucson activity number (T08BU00374) on each sheet. 11. Show the limit of grading and list area of disturbance on the plans. 12. Please show the proposed roof drainage patterns, 100% of the 10-year flow must be conveyed under the sidewalks. Please provide supporting calculations to demonstrate compliance with D.S. 3-01.4.4. If the location(s) of the roof scuppers have not yet been decided, add a general note indicating sidewalk scuppers (per COT/SD) will be used when the roof scuppers locations have been designed. 13. Show details of all surface materials. 14. A permit or a private improvement agreement will be necessary for any work performed within the Right-of-way. Contact Permits and Codes at (520) 791-5100 for permit information. 15. Delineate 100-year W.S.E.L., Floodplain and erosion hazard setback. 16. Call out the names of all washes. 17. Slopes of 3H: 1V require hand placed riprap. 18. Slopes of 2H: 1V or greater require grouted riprap. 19. Drainage patterns with percent slopes (Show patterns within the first 100 feet from the property line). 20. Flow arrows, grades and flow rates within the site to show drainage scheme. 21. Call out peak discharges entering and exiting the site. Drainage report: 1. Please include a response letter to the comments along with the corrected copies of the DR. 2. This site is affected by the City of Tucson flood Hazard areas and is subject to Chapter 29 of the City of Tucson flood plain ordinance. 3. A flood plain use permit will be required for the work being done in the City of Tucson flood hazard area. 4. A Drainage report is required for parcels affected by 100 year flows of 100 cfs, of more per S.M.D.D.F.M., chap. II, 2.1.2, therefore the drainage study report is not acceptable. 5. The content and format of the DR should follow S.M.D.D.F.M., chap. II, 2.1.3. 6. Show the project address on the cover of the DR. 7. Address the wash crossing at the access road in the DR. 8.
