Resubmittal Required: Traffic Engineering does not recommend approval of the PIA Plan; therefore a revised PIA Plan is required for re-submittal. The following items must be revised or added to the plan.

1. Include a response letter with the next submittal that states how all comments have been addressed.

2. See redlines on the submitted drawings and address the additional redline comments. During the next submittal please re-submit the roll of redlines for back checking purposes.

3. Provide the 17 striping notes required from sheet 2-1 of the Pavement Marking Design Manual.

4. Sheet 2 of 6, Revise the general signing note #1 to reflect the current MUTCD edition (2003 Edition).

5. Place the PIA and CDRC Case number on the cover sheet.

6. Add the following Pavement Marking/Striping General Notes to the Plans:

'ALL STREET STRIPING & SIGNAGE TO BE COORDINATED WITH C.O.T. TRAFFIC ENGINEERING CALL 791-4259 A MINIMUM OF 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THE INSTALLATION OR REMOVAL OF ANY SIGNAGE OR STRIPING. ALL REQUIRED STRIPING AND SIGNAGE WILL BE INSTALLED AT THE CONTRACTOR'S EXPENSE. NEW STRIPING TO BE THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL. USE 2" SQUARE-TUBE POST AND SQUARE TUBE POST FOUNDATIONS FOR SIGNING. BARRICADE PLAN MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE CITY OF TUCSON TRAFFIC ENGINEERING FOR APPROVAL 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE OF ANY WORK IN PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY.'

3. Will there be any landscaping instaleed with this project? If so, please submit the plan to Paul Rosenboom at 4004 S Park Avenue, Bld #2 for review.
4. What is the proposed D50 and pad thickness for the scupper splash pad?

PROJECT REVIEWER: Richard Leigh, Senior Engineering Associate Permits and Codes Section

RESUBMITTAL REQUIRED: Permits and Codes Section has reviewed the PIA Plan and does not recommend approval of the PIA Plan at this time. The following comments need to be addressed in the next submittal.

1. Include Book and Page of the development on cover sheet.

2. Include COT Development Services activity number "T07PI00040"on cover sheet.

3. Include the plan number "I-2007-051" in the title block of each sheet.

4. Include the street name "Wilmot Road" in title of plan.

5. Remove shadowing effect in title of plan.

6. Remove "Pima County Department of Transportation" signature line from cover sheet.

7. Provide a dimensioned detail for each type of proposed curb access ramp. Additionally, indicate the use of truncated domes as the detectable warning device.

8. The title in title blocks must be the same for all sheets.

9. Provide curb terminal sections, per PC/COT Std. Dtl. 212, at beginning and end of the proposed vertical cub along Wilmot Road.

10. Provide a detail for the pavement taper ends.

11. Align the proposed curb access ramp on the southwest corner of Wilmot Road and Alexander Anton Avenue with the ramp opposite of it.

12. Provide header returns for the driveway located at +/- Sta. 12+63, RT. (Wilmot Road).

13. Show and label existing edge of pavement in the plan views.

14. Depict the proposed scour protection for the outlet of the sidewalk scuppers in the plan view.

15. Sheet 6, Detail 1 & 2: Indicate the application of a thickened edge for the uncurbed pavement edge. Additionally, provide a thickened edge detail.

16. Sheet 6, Detail 4: Indicate the thickness of pavement and aggregate base course.

17. Sheet 6 Detail 3: Indicate the deck of the sidewalk scupper to be a minimum of 9'-6" wide.

18. Provide the complete details of the proposed rip-rap blanket for the sidewalk scupper outlets.

19. Provide a hydraulic analysis for the proposed sidewalk scuppers on Wilmot Road.
