1. Please include a detail letter of explanation with the next submittal indicating where and how revisions were made. Single word responses are unacceptable. Include plans/redlines from previous plan submittal.

2. Reminder, Maps and Plats, Book and Page should be noted on cover sheet of subdivision street improvement plans. Plat must be recorded before submittal of mylars for final review and approval.

3. Reminder, Indicate All Easements, dedications, right-of-way should be depicted in plan view and labeled with recordation information (docket/page or plat book/page). Apply this information where there is an Easement of any kind or where it reads “Dedicated by Final Plat”. Correct and revise. See redlines for additional corrections.

4. Sheet 1, Remove all “Shadow” background from line work and text.

5. Sheets 1 - 11 must have the same title as Sheet 1, “Public Streets & Public Sewers for Interstate 10 and Kolb Road”. Correct all sheets to indicate revision.

6. Sheet 2, Title block text height must be 0.125” or greater. Correct all sheets and text.

7. Sheet 3 - 9, Indicate Grade breaks and High points in Profile. See redlines.


8. Comment not addressed: Indicate all drainage structures along curb line on Profile views. Correct and revise.

9. Comment not addressed; Callout Construction Note #8 for all wedge curb to vertical curb and or catch basins. Note that if wedge curb is to transition to catch basin, it is preferred that wedge curb be transition and depressed and not use vertical curb.

10. Reminder, Indicate Private, Proposed or Common Area for 20’ Drainage Easement By Final Plat, Book ___ & Page ___. This information must coincide with the approved Tentative Plat.

11. Sheets 4, 5, 6, & 8; Label the hatch areas. Indicate hatch symbol(s) in Legend of Sheet 1.

12. Construction Notes 9, 10 & 11; Indicate a dimensioned detail to show the modification(s) and structural for each catch basin and or storm drain structure. Structures must coincide with construction notes.

13. Construction Note 9 does not show Std. Dtls. 300 & 304 on Sheet 11. Correct.

17. Construction Note 21 calls out for HEADER instead of Headwalls. Correction should be for Headwalls, Std. Dtl. 313.

18. Sheet 8 & 9; Indicate a dimensioned detail of the handicap ramp adjoining Hermans Road. Show how one side is vertical curb and the other side is wedge curb. Label this detail along with 11b on Sheet 10. See redlines.

19. Comment not addressed: Sheet 10, Detail 9; Indicate the Centerline of the Flow line.

20. Sheet 11, Detail 2; the 8 foot Pedestrian area/shoulder along the strip pavement must have a slope of 2% in the direction of the roadway and be separate to drainage ditches/channels. Correct slope direction. See redlines.

21. Sheet 11, Details 4 & 5; Provide Structural Details for the Junction Structures. Must be sealed by a Structural Engineer. Submit data.

22. Sheet 11, indicate the pipe Class for all RCP’s. See redlines.

23. Indicate a dimensioned detail for “Saw-cut, Trim, Tack & Join”.

24. See redlines for additional corrections.

Drainage Report
25. Letter to Laith Alshami, dated April 5, 2007, Sheet 2, Comment 11, 3rd sentence states, “ The scupper inlet and outlet elevations, used to construct the proposed scuppers, will be obtained from the improvement drawings, to be produced at a later date.” Submit this data with the next submittal.

26. Report must indicate data for Construction Notes 9, 10 & 11. Submit copies.
