02/15/2008 | ANDREW CONNOR | LANDSCAPE | REVIEW | Denied | 1. An unpaved planting area, which is a minimum of thirty-four (34) square feet in area and four (4) feet in width, must be provided for each canopy tree. The measurement is always within the planter area and does not include any material which defines the outer edge of the unpaved area per DS 2-06.3.3.C. Revise Detail #6 on Sheet SP-1 to meet requirement. 2. The site plan and landscape plan must show identical site layout to avoid conflict between the two plans. Ensure that all changes to the site plan are reflected on the landscape plan. |
02/15/2008 | ANDREW CONNOR | ZONING | REVIEW | Denied | Heather Thrall, zoning March 5, 2008 Per last review: 1) new class 2 bike parking must be within 50' of building entry. Per my scale, it's over that, based upon the noted entry. 2) Your detail that you reference for bike parking, detail 4 - is entirely missing on sheet SP.1. Please provide the detail and please reference DS 2-09 on the internet for acceptable bike parking figures. 3) Per PAAL connections from new parking to old parking at a width of less than 24' noted, I acknowledge your response that I was previously measuring to the lip of a gutter. Either label as lip of gutter or provide detail - the drawing appears to show that the PAALs are less than 24 if they are not labeled appropriately. 4) The 2000 city approved site plan clearly shows a required sidewalk that is leading to the existing parking lot north of the building. If its not there in real conditions, provide a note stating the sidewalk will be installed and provide the width and a slope note. Heather.Thrall@tucsonaz.gov |
