It is our understanding from the tenant that the scope of work only entails changing out an existing panel, terminating existing circuits on to this new panel, and providing a new service. From the plans it appears as a totally new buildout. Please clarify. If this is to be a new buildout, we will have to address the possibility of a classified location. If the area is already permitted for all this equipment, work with John Williams to demonstrate Certificate of Occupancy. THIS COMMENT WAS MADE ON THE SUBMITTAL OF 12/27/08. FROM THE INFORMATION PRESENTED BY THE CLIENT, THE PREVIOUS CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY WAS FOR STORAGE ONLY. SINCE THIS IS A SMALL WOODWORKING SHOP, PLEASE REFER TO http://www.tucsonaz.gov/dsd/Codes___Ordinances/Building_Codes/2005_NEC_Amendments_2-5-07.pdf, SECTION 502.5 FOR FURTHER SPECIFICATION. ALL OF THESE ELEMENTS MUST BE CLEARLY AND EXPLICITLY SPECIFIED ON THE PLANS. 2. Regarding Keynote 4, if this is a new supply to a paint spray booth, we may have to consider a classified location and more information. Please clarify. SAME AS ABOVE, OWNER TO FOLLOWUP ON ANY PREVIOUS CERTIFICATE(S) OF OCCUPANCY. 3. Fault current analysis directs the contractor to provide Panel L1. It appears that the scope only deals with L2.
