IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS.

1. City currently enforces the 2005 NEC, not 2002. Please correct all references to 2002 NEC.
2. Panel A1 appears twice on the line diagram. Please clarify.
3. (E) ISCA is listed as 23,400A by one of the Panels A1. But the panel is rated at 10,000 AIC. Please clarify, and coordinate. This is important because the it is necessary to know what the tie-in breaker for the PV system is to be rated at.
4. Distinguish new from existing on Panel A1. It appears the intent is to install a new 30A breaker for the photovoltaic system.
5. It appears that this proposed installation is in violation of NEC 690.64 (B) (2).
6. Line Diagram on Sheet E1.1 instructs the contractor to tie the photovoltaic system to the AC side at the Customer's Main AC Service. On Sheet E1.0 it appears the intent is to have the AC tie at Panel A1. Please clarify.
7. Please show tie-in on existing line diagram, so as to coordinate and clarify intent.
8. The inverter specified produces 240V. The line diagram on Sheet E1.1 instructs the contractor to tie in to a 208V system. The system documented on Sheet E1.0 is a 208V system. Please clarify.
9. Note A on the Interconnection Diagram Notes refers to BP panels. System Specifications and cut sheets refer to SW panels. If BP panels are also acceptable, please document this on the System Specifications, Notes, cut sheet submittals, and all other places which may apply.
10. Please correct the values for the labeling in Note C Interconnection Diagram Notes.
11. Please note that if 150A Panel A1 is protected by a 200A fuse, this would be a violation of NEC 408.36 (A).
12. Provide for overcurrent protection at the AC Disconnect Switch. Reference NEC 690.9 (A), or justify otherwise.
13. Since the 30A circuit breaker at remote Panel A1is intended for the inverter output interconnection, please specify that this location be marked in accordance with the requirements of NEC 690.54. NEC 690.54 (B) (4) also emphasizes this requirement.
14. Please specify a 15A fuse for each of the 4 paralleled panel strings. Manufacturer requires a maximum series fuse rating of 15A, and (2) (1.56) (5.4) = 16.84, which exceeds the 15A. Please see the attached. Willing to discuss.
