This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. SCOPE OF REVIEW: The scope of this plan review covers architectural, plumbing, mechanical, energy conservation and electrical. All code references are to the 2006 International Residential Code, 2006 International Energy Conservation Code, and Arizona State amendments to the 2006 Uniform Plumbing Code. All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided. All portions of this project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. All engineers and architects involved in the design of the structure are to seal the related sheets of plans, details and calculations in accordance with the rules of the State Board of Technical Registration. I. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: · Provide two copies of the corrected set of drawings (no clouds or revision numbers please) along with a set of the first submission (cloud corrections on this set please). All corrections and revisions shall be made on original tracings or finished reproducible set. Pen or pencil corrections on final prints will not be acceptable. To avoid delays, ensure that all corrections have been made, are complete, and have been coordinated on all applicable detail and note sheets. II. PLUMBING PLAN: · The Tucson Water policy adopted 3/2/07 limits the maximum demand for a 5/8" water meter (there are no ¾" meters for Tucson Water service) to 10GPM, confirm with Tucson Water that the existing meter will be able to meet the new water demand. Reference Tables P2903.6 and P2903.6(1), IRC 2006. § Provide a water supply line from the water meter sized to accommodate the proposed demand, UPC Table 6-6. § Specify the source of water supply to the new water heater. III. MECHANICAL PLAN: § Show the exhaust fan location for existing bathroom venting to the exterior (min 50 CFM rating), R303.3, M1507.
