TRANSMITTAL DATE: January 03, 2008

1. The building plan has been reviewed by Zoning Review Section but cannot approve the plan until all zoning comments or concerns have been addressed.

2. Provide a copy of the last approved site or development plan so that zoning can verify the locations of the required handicapped parking and loading space.

3. Sheet A-100 Detail A, the proposed handicapped ramps do not show the location of the required detectable warning (truncated domes), see ICC/ANSI A117.1-2003 Sec. 406.13. Also so the proposed slopes for the proposed ramp.

4. It appears that the two (2) handicapped parking spaces and access aisles shown on the west end of Detail A, Sheet A-100 do not appear to have access to the sidewalk located to the south. Show the proposed accessible route for these handicapped parking spaces. The accessible route is not allowed to be located within the parking area access lane and/or behind the parking spaces. Accessible ramps with truncated domes are required at all access aisles.

6. Based on a development plan found on the TDOT Map site, the proposed new accessible route shown near the southwest corner of the building will encroach on a required loading space. This is not allowed. If relocating the loading space show the new location and maneuvering area on the plan.

7. Zoning will re-review the building plan on the next submittal to insure compliance with the approved and stamped site plan. Additional comments may be forthcoming.
