05/13/2009 DAVE MANN FIRE REVIEW Denied Portions of the home have greater than 150 hose lay from street. Move the building closer to the road or provide automatic fire sprinklers.
05/21/2009 ANDREW CONNOR LANDSCAPE REVIEW Denied 1. The Regulated Area for watercourses is defined under this Development Standard 9-06.2.2. B.2 & 3. Development shall not extend beyond the banks of a watercourse and the area within 50 feet of the top of the bank. Revise plans as necessary to comply with Development Standard.

2. Ensure that all Engineering and Zoning comments and concerns are addressed and appropriate revisions are made to site, grading and NPPO plan.
05/21/2009 MATT FLICK ENGINEERING REVIEW Denied Sheet A.1 - The FEMA flood zone is "AH", not "X".

Exhibit L.1 - The finished floor elevation (ffe) must be a minimum of 1' above the FEMA-determined water surface elevation at the upstream point of the structure. Please correct the ffe. It is suggested that the fill pad be elevated above the FEMA-determined water surface elevation at the upstream point of the fill pad. Doing so may facilitate removal of the structure from the FEMA floodplain and reduce the need to protect the top of the fill pad from erosion by the floodwaters.

Exhibit L.2 - The finished floor elevation (ffe) must be a minimum of 1' above the FEMA-determined water surface elevation at the upstream point of the structure.

Exhibit L.2 - Placing of a fill pad in a FEMA floodplain requires sufficient armoring (riprap, vegetation, etc.) to resist erosion. If the fill extends less than 25' from the building edges, certification is required by a P.E. that the armoring is sufficient (this can be done on the Elevation Certificate or other format).
