PLEASE CALL AT 791-5550 X1106 OR EMAIL AT Linda.Buczynski@tucsonaz.gov IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS. 1. Available fault current at the new transfer switch and new Panel E. Existing service switchboard is very close, and this does not appear to be addressed on the plans. Ideally the exact ratings should be provided on the plans so the Contractor and our Inspectors have no question. 2. Loading of Panel E and its feeder. It comes out to about 99A as calculated on the plans, and is on a 100A circuit. Since the basis for the calculation is a 1968 "Asbuilt", even the 25% safety factor may not be reliable. Unfortunately, I have seen City panels that did not even have that much correspondence between the plans, the field documentation, and actual installed loads. Didn't know exactly how I would call this until I noticed how close we were to the 100A circuit rating. COMMENT SATISFIED REFERENCE TELEPHONE CONVERSATION WITH ANDY BROTHERS 8/13/07. 3. The circuit breakers on the generator terminals. Would like to discuss. COMMENT SATISFIED REFERENCE TELEPHONE CONVERSATION WITH ANDY BROTHERS 8/13/07. |
| 08/09/2007 | ROBERT SHERRY | MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | 1. Show that the gas train complies with the requirements of Section 5.2, NFPA 37-2002 (e.g. manual leak test valve). Reference Section 915.1, IMC 2003. |
