08/22/2007 | WILLDAN | ADA | REVIEW | Denied | August 22, 2007 City of Tucson Development Services P.O. Box 27210 Tucson, AZ 85726 RE: MLK Apartments Depot Plaze Site ADA – 1ST REVIEW CITY OF TUCSON LOG NO. T07CM03033 WILLDAN PROJECT NO. 16608-7006 The initial review for the above project has been completed. This letter contains comments which need to be addressed by written responses to each, indicating all actions taken. In order to facilitate a shorter second review, all corrections and revisions must be completed. Two complete new sets of prints, along with a redlined set from the previous review, must be delivered to our office. To avoid delays, ensure that all corrections have been made, are complete, and have been coordinated on all applicable detail and note sheets. Pen or pencil corrections on final prints are not acceptable. This project has been reviewed for conformance with the City of Tucson Land Use Code 1995 and the City of Tucson Development Standards 2000 as amended and supplemented. Any revisions to this plan will require an additional review and approval by Willdan. Should you have questions regarding the comments herein, please contact your plans examiners, David Williams, ADA. ACCESSIBILITY COMMENTS: Accessible ramps and truncated domes are required for the crossing of the parking garage entrance, Arizona Avenue along Toole, and 5th Avenue along Toole. Please indicate these on the site plan including necessary details. Sheet C.1 Sheet C1.1 appears to be a demolition plan and site plan overlapping one another which makes it is unclear what site improvements are being done. Please provide a separate site plan to clarify. At the Northwest corner of the project there is a rectangle that is not labeled. Please label what this object is, if it is above ground it will have to be relocated to allow an unobstructed accessible path around the building. Sincerely, WILLDAN David A. Williams, AICP Principal Planner |
