03/17/2008 | ROBERT SHERRY | MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | 1. Section 304.10, IMC 2006 requires the guard to have a minimum height of 4'-6" above the elevated surface by the guard. 2. Comment not resolved. Provide structural calculations to show how the solar water heater will be installed and that the installation will not adversely affect the building structure. 03/24/2008 | LINDA BUCZYNSKI | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | TRANSMIT ORIGINAL DRAWINGS WITH NEXT SUBMITTAL. PLEASE CALL AT 791-5550 X1106 OR EMAIL AT Linda.Buczynski@tucsonaz.gov IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS. 1. Tankless Water Heater Schedule calls for a 120V WH. Electrical provides 240V power. Please clarify. THIS COMMENT WAS MADE ON THE FIRST SUBMITTAL AND SECOND SUBMITTALS. Three phase equipment as now specified can not be powered from a single phase source. 2. Provide a disconnecting means for this Water Heater. Reference NEC 422 Part III. 3. Revised Electrical Calculation still do not reflect the true sum, which is 27,609 VA, not 17,609. Please correct amperage draw as well. COMMENT MADE PREVIOUSLY. If Water Heater, as specified, draws 100A, then at 240V 3-phase it will consume 41,569W, not 3600. Please note that one Heat Pump is to draw 15A and the other only 1A according to the HVAC Schedule Sheet M2.0. At 15A the power consumed would be 3600W, not 3250. 4. Outdoor Lighting Calculations account for a 60W fixture. Luminaire Schedule and cut sheet call for a 120W fixture. Please clarify, and correct the Calculations as necessary. COMMENT MADE PREVOUSLY. The compact fluorescent fixture now specified should put out more than 900 mean lumens per fixture. Provide manufacturer documentation of such. |
04/03/2008 | HEATHER THRALL | ZONING | REVIEW | Denied | Zoning cannot approve the building plans until building code structural review approves them. I acknowledge the 9' setback and the 8'10 tall wall will meet setbacks at the west side for the residential portion of the building. These plans can be walked thru at the counter once building code reviews and approves the building plans. thanks - HT |
