10/25/2007 DAVE MANN FIRE REVIEW Denied Several of the fire sprinkler notes on the architectural drawings say "see plumbing drawings." There is no sprinkler information in the plumbing drawings.

How will the tank for the fire pump be protected from low temperature, see NFPA 20-8?

Please add the following automatic sprinkler criteria to the plans:
1. The hazard classification of the occupancies including any special hazards.
2. The design standard to be used.
3. The availability and adequacy of the water supply.
4. The design density and the area of operation.

Elevator recall and a lock box for the keys are required. See IFC Section 607.

Standpipes are required in both stairwells and a roof hose outlet is required. See IFC Section 905.4

Show the location of the fire department connection.

IFC Section 907.2.9 requires a fire alarm system for the building.

Unit C-2 on Sheet E3.0 is missing the hall smoke detector.

Unit H on Sheet E3.3 is missing the bedroom smoke detectors.

Unit 605 needs a second exit. The occupant load exceeds 50.
