09/05/2008 | LINDA BUCZYNSKI | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | TRANSMIT ORIGINAL DRAWINGS WITH NEXT SUBMITTAL. PLEASE CALL AT 520.837.4907 OR EMAIL AT Linda.Buczynski@tucsonaz.gov IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS. 1. Sheet E221. RTU-15 takes 30A fuse, maximum, per Mechanical Plans. Specify such on this sheet. Typical. PREVIOUS COMMENT. When the manufacturer specifies a fuse, then a fuse shall be used to satisfy the requirements for MOPD. Mechanical schedule sheet has not changed from this designation. And this may be a mechanical typo, because the same schedule calls for circuit breakers factory installed. NOT RESOLVED. FUSES ARE STILL SPECIFIED ON SHEET M141. 2. Sheet E601. Values for electrical requirements for VAVs used on this sheet are different from those on the Mechanical Schedule. Please clarify. PREVIOUS COMMENT. Please recheck this. For example, VAV-4-2 is 4.0 KW on the Mechanical Schedule and 2.5 kW on Sheet E601, and VAV-4-3 is 277V 1-phase on the Mechanical Schedule and 480V 3-phase on Sheet E601. NOT RESOLVED. STILL NOT COORDINATED WITH SHEET M141. 3. Tucson Electric Power Company published Available Fault Current for a 3000A capacity 277/480V 3-phase service is 52,400A, per SR-510 Pg. 1 of 1, for the case of a single serving transformer. If there are only 45,744A available at the end of the utility cable run, please document any and all supporting information. REVIEW BEGUN WITH THIS INFORMATION. Available fault current at HL-5 and HL-6 are 39815 and 42680 respectively, which exceeds their rating of 35K. Please recheck these and all others which may apply, but note that the following appear to be OK with respect to fault current rating: ATS-1, ATS-2, LD-1, LP-13, LP-14, LP-15, LP-18, LP-19, and LP-20. 4. Assemble at least one good set for final signature. |
