Fault calculations for used the value for 2 sets of 50' of 3/0 for the run from the service to Panel E. This run is comprised of 2 sets of 350 MCM, and New Distribution Panel E is shown immediately adjacent to the service. It appears that the fault current at Panel EB is aprox. 15.7 kA, not 12.3, at Panel EB. If the lower value remains on the plans, it could open the question of providing a panel only rated 14K. 3. Fault calculations for used the value for 2 sets of 50' of 3/0 for the run from the service to Panel M. The run itself is 20' of 500 MCM. It appears that the fault current at Panel M is aprox. 25.5 kA, not 19.3, at Panel M, exceeding its fault current rating. This also effects Panel A. |
