4. Provide structural calculations to verify that the existing roof is capable of supporting the additional dead load due to the installation of the roof top units. Reference Section 302.1, IMC 2003.
5. Specify the minimum resistance (R-value) of the duct insulation to be used on this project. Reference Section 803.2.8, IECC 2003.
6. ASHRAE Standard 62-1989 is not approved as a method for determining the minimum required ventilation. ASHRAE Standard 62.1-2004 may be used as a basis for ventilation calculations if the default occupant densities and combined outdoor air rates are used. Provide ventilation calculations. Reference Section 403.2, IMC 2003, as amended by the City of Tucson.
7. Unless the proposed Type I kitchen hood has been factory-built and tested in accordance with UL 710, the minimum airflow rates shall conform to the requirements of Section 507.13, IMC 2003. Short-circuit hoods, as shown in the Kitchen Exhaust Hood detail on sheet M-2 shall use the net quantity of exhaust air (total exhaust airflow minus the airflow introduced directly into the hood) to meet the requirements of Section 507.13, IMC 2003. Reference Section 507.1, IMC 2003.
8. Provide structural calculations and details to show that the Type I hood is supported from the building structure in accordance with Section 507.6, IMC 2003.
9. Show that the roof top air-conditioning units supplying the additional make up air not supplied by the make up air unit for the kitchen hood are also electrically interlocked to the exhaust fans. Reference Section 508.1, IMC 2003.
10. Provide information to show that the make up air for the kitchen hood complies with Section 508.1.1, IMC 2003.
11. Coordinate the installation details for the kitchen hood and grease exhaust duct as shown on sheet M-2 with the architectural details shown on sheet A-2.
12. If the suspended ceiling in the kitchen is required to have a 1-hour fire rating (Grease Duct at Hood detail, M-2), provide ceiling radiation dampers for the diffuser penetrations of the rated membrane. Reference Section 607.6.2, IMC 2003.

Specify which backflow assembly or device is to be used for each appliance. Reference Sections 602.3, 603.0, and Table 6-2, UPC 2003.
5. Provide water pressure and water pipe sizing calculations. Reference Section 610.1, UPC 2003.
6. Provide dimensions for the individual air chambers called for on sheet MP-1 and show how they are accessible. Reference Section 609.10.1, UPC 2003.
7. Provide a design for the mounting shelf for the water heater along with structural calculations to show that the water heater is safely supported. Reference Section 310.0, UPC 2003.
