Bureau Veritas North America has completed a Second review of the following documents on behalf of the City of Tucson:


1. Plans: Two (2) sets of plans (31 sheets, T-1 through E3.4) Stamped by Phillip A. Carhuff Registered Architect. Dated April 24, 2007.

2. Structural Calculations: Two (2) sets of calcualtions. Stamped by Brent L. Woods Structural Engineer. Dated April 20, 2007.


These documents were reviewed only for their conformance to the provisions of the 2003 International Building Codes (i.e., State of Arizona and Pima County amended 2003 IBC, 2003 IMC, 2002 NEC and 2003 IPC). Our comments follow on the attached list.

1. Please provide proper reference number and description for rafters and decking @ exterior porch Sheet S3-1.

2. Show how egress requirements are met for second floor. Provide egress calculations with for all required exits.

Show how structural members will carry new roof mounted A/C units.

4. Provide specs and details for new type II hood.
