RESUBMITTAL REQUIRED: SITE PLAN

1. The purpose of the review is to review any work outside of the existing building. A site plan was not submitted, so it is not clear if the scope of the work extends to outside the building. This office recognizes the purpose of the construction work is to bring the building/site up to current ADA standards. Please clarify. Provide a site plan showing any new construction to the parcel. If the work only resides within the building this office will be able to "Pass" the Engineering review. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to further discuss this project. Due to the fact the review could be minimal it is possible to schedule an over the counter review.

Comments:

1. The site plan has been reviewed by Zoning Review Section but cannot approve the plan until the following zoning comments are addressed.

2. Label the maximum slope allowed for handicapped parking spaces and access aisle that serve the parking spaces. The maximum slope allowed per ANSI section 503.4 is 1:48 (2%). Label the slope on the handicapped parking space detail and access aisle.

3. Truncated domes are required at all access ramps and at areas where the sidewalk is flush and transitions from the sidewalk to the vehicular use areas. This includes at the H.C. access aisle that transitions from the sidewalk onto the aisle.

4. Zoning is willing to review the revised site plan over the counter and approve and stamp the site plan with an appointment. If you wish to do so please feel free to call me at 791-5608 ext. 1181 to set up and appointment.
