Bureau Veritas North America has completed a second review of the following documents on behalf of the City of Tucson:

Plans: Two (2) sets of building plans (19 sheets, G1.1 through E1.1) dated February 9, 2007 by Soumya Biswas for Consulting Engineers Corporation.

Structural Calculations: Two sets of calculations dated February 9, 2007, by Soumya Biswas for Consulting Engineers Corporation.

Truss Calculations: None submitted with this review.


These documents were reviewed only for their conformance to the provisions of the 2003 International Building Codes (i.e., State of Arizona and Tucson amended 2003 IRC, 2003 IMC, 2002 NEC and 2003 IPC).

PLUMBING COMMENTS:

Provide a detail for island sink venting.

Plumbing plan not provided

Provide a gas isometric with length of line(horizontal and vertical) to each appliance, BTU demand of each appliances, size of each branch, total demand and size of the meter.

Provide a drainage pipe isometric shoeing all drain, waste and vent piping.

Note that drainage piping serving fixtures which have flood level rims located below the elevation of the next upstream manhole cover of the public sewer shall be protected from backflow of sewage by a backwater valve. IRC Sec P3008.

Specify materials for gas pipes.
