This letter reflects comments to be addressed. In order to facilitate a shorter back check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, highlighting any changes, along with a written response to each of the noted items indicating action taken. SCOPE OF REVIEW: The scope of this plan review covers architectural, plumbing, mechanical, energy conservation and electrical. All code references are to the 2003 International Residential Code, 2003 International Energy Conservation Code, and Arizona State amendments to the 2003 Uniform Plumbing Code. All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided. All portions of this project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: All corrections and revisions shall be made on original tracings or finished reproducible set. Return this set and a copy along with a set of the first submission. Pen or pencil corrections on final prints will not be acceptable. To avoid delays, ensure that all corrections have been made, are complete, and have been coordinated on all applicable detail and note sheets. · Provide a note for underground facility tracer wires per DSD Memo, 10/24/2005. · As of 9-02-04 the City of Tucson has adopted the 2003 IRC with the exception of the plumbing portion which has been replaced with the 2003 UPC with amendments. All plans should reference these codes. FOUNDATION: 1. Insufficient footing size at monolithic detail E 2. Provide new footing for interior carport column 3. Provide slope for parking surfaces, R309.4. FLOOR PLAN: 1. Specify manufacturer and series on glue-lams, R802.1.4. 4. Justify beam sizes for carport roof or provide sufficient materials MECHANICAL PLAN: 1. Provide means of maintaining minimum room temperature of 68 degrees in new living space, R303.8.
