Note that the purpose of the grading plan is for inspectors to utilize the plans during their inspection. Specific plan information is needed to ensure that the inspector has the adequate information they need to provide the inspection. The grading plan and site plans are often separated on a construction project and therefore, both need to have the information required for the inspector to complete the inspection.
