GRADING PERMIT CONDITIONS:
The following 11 conditions apply to the grading permit T07BU02113:
1) Call for Pre-construction meeting. For a DSD Engineering Inspection, call IVR (740-6970), or schedule with a Customer Service Representative at the Development Services Department, or contact DSD Engineering at 837-4888, or schedule inspections online at: http://www.ci.tucson.az.us/dsd/Online_Services/Online_Permits/online_permits.html
2) The grading permit T07BU02113 will be for earthwork and grading construction for pool excavation within the approved grading limits as shown on the approved Rough Grading Plan dated 10/19/07.
3) See the approved Grading Plans for New Lazy River at the JW Marriott, Starr Pass Resort & Spa (dated 10/19/07), and letter from Starr Pass Resort Developments (dated October 12, 2007).
4) A copy of the Grading Plan and Grading Permit shall be kept at the site at all times, until final grading approval.
5) An additional grading plan will be required for final grading construction design of the pool area. Any revision to this Grading Plan may require a re-submittal of a revised grading plan for review. Contact DSD Engineering at 791-5550 to discuss changes in grading design.
6) If grading construction is expected to last longer than the expiration date of the grading permit, contact DSD to renew/extend the Grading Permit. 7) Interim erosion and sediment controls shall be maintained per approved grading plans at downstream areas of disturbance limits.
8) The permitee shall notify the DSD when the grading operation is ready for final grading inspection. Final grading approval shall not be given until all work, including installation of all drainage improvements and their permanent protective devices, and all erosion control measures have been completed in accordance with the approved grading plan and grading permit, and all conditions of permit are completed.
9) There shall be no disturbance outside of the disturbance/grading limits.
10) Per HDZ requirements any rock shall be either handplaced rip rap with filter fabric or handplaced grouted rip rap.
11) TetraTech shall provide a sealed document regarding the pool excavation and construction assuring acceptable clearances and surcharge to protect the existing sewerline structures. Submit to the City of Tucson Development Services Engineering Division.
