Engineering Division does not recommend approval of the grading plan application at this time. The following items need to be addressed: GRADING PLAN COMMENTS: 1) Provide a copy of the last approved site plan (T06CM06319). The grading plan can not be approved until verification that all details, locations, dimensions, and plan profiles match the approved site plan. Provide a copy of the stamped approved site plan within the grading plan package. All items on the grading plan must match the site plan plus provide additional construction information on the grading plan sheets for construction purposes. Review last approved site plan and revise grading plan to match, provide revision clouds or a detailed letter that clearly states the areas of revision. 2) Title 4 Chapter 30 R4-30-304.E.4: Revise the grading plan to provide the expiration date along with the seal for the engineer of record. Per the referenced section; "All original documents should include a notation beneath the seal either written, typed, or electronically generated that provides the day, month, and year of expiration of current registration, as shown in Appendix B. (Effective 3/08/08)." 3) Provide all supplemental information that is associated with this project at the next grading plan submittal for review. Provide a copy of the last approved site plan, Drainage Report, Geotechnical Report and revised SWPPP for a complete review of this project. No supplemental information was submitted with the review. 4) Refer to comments from Ron Brown, RA Structural Plans Examiner for all handicap and ANSI Standard requirements that apply to this project. 5) Provide a general note on the grading plan to state the following: "Call for a Pre-construction meeting prior to start of earthwork. To schedule a DSD Pre-construction meeting, SWPPP inspection or general Engineering Inspections, call IVR (740-6970), or schedule with a Customer Service Representative at the Development Services Department, or contact DSD Engineering at 791-5550 extension 2101, or schedule inspections online at: http://www.ci.tucson.az.us/dsd/Online_Services/Online_Permits/online_permits.html 6) Approval from TDOT Permits and Codes for all improvements within the public right-of-way will be required. A right-of-way use permit application will be required prior to construction, if applicable.
