Several areas of the project require Truncated domes per ANSI. Please add a typical note for truncated domes to be placed on the sidewalk directly abutting all handicapped access aisles. 3. In the east side of the parking garage where a convergence of handicapped parking spaces occur, a strip of truncated domes is required running the length of the sidewalk where it transitions to the handicapped access aisles. In addition, since the sidewalk is flush here, please provide a physical barrier -such as bollards - to protect the sidewalk from any possible vehicle intrusion. 4. Staff is reviewing the number of handicapped parking spaces required for this project to ensure ANSI is met. Please check with Karol Aragonez at 837-4960 for further information. Once the correct amount of handicapped parking spaces is determined, please be advised a revision to the development plan and the grading plan may be required.
