No uses, not even those of a temporary nature, are allowed within the 30-foot buffer. If desired the total of nine (palo verde and velvet mesquite) trees to be transplanted on site may be planted directly within and distributed throughout the 30-foot buffer area as these are typical of and indigenous to the site. LUC 2.8.2.4 2) Selection of plant material for use on the project is to be from the comprehensive list of native vegetation that exists on the site and in the immediately areas surrounding the site. Revise to exclude any plants not indigenous to the immediate area from the 30-foot buffer. Rather than the groupings of ocotillo shown on landscape sheet 6 of 11, it is encouraged that some of the trees transplanted on the site, and some of the same species, be used within the 30-foot buffer.
