Single word sentences are unacceptable. Include plans/redlines from previous plan submittal. 2. An approved Development Plan is required for next submittal. I noticed as per DSD/Engineering comments there are some outstanding right-of-way issues that impact On-site and Off-site reviews. 3. Sheet 1, Change the title within the title block to read: Off-site Improvement Plan, Broadway Blvd. and Rosemont Blvd: Deceleration Lane, The Pavillions. Correct and revise. 4. Use correct line type and pen weight for existing structures and symbols as per COT/PC-SDPI Std. Dt. No. 100, Sheet 1 thru 11. Correct and revise. 5. Sheet 1, above title block indicate DSD activity number T06PI00063. See redlines. 6. Title block for sheets 2-5 are to be corrected. For correct title block see the last page of PIA Guidelines and Checklist at http://www.tucsonaz.gov/dsd/PIA_Plan_Requirements2.pdf 7. The Geotechnical Report does not indicate the pavement section and reference soil recommendation for an arterial public road. Correct and revise. 8. Indicate the correct administrative address where the project site is physically located. Correct and revise. 9. Add General and Paving Notes #s 9-20: Asphaltic Concrete shall conform to PC/COT SSPI Section 406. (Indicate Mix Type for arterial road). Correct and revise. 10. Pavement Section Design documentation, are in accordance to the approved Geotechnical Report, Report Name and Firm Name, Project Number. 11. All Drainage Infrastructures, indicated on the plans, are in accordance to the approved Drainage Report approved by Development Services Department. 12. All changes to these plans must be cleared by the City of Tucson City Engineer's Permits and Codes Section, prior to construction. 13. A pre-construction field meeting shall be conducted with the City of Tucson Transportation inspector prior to any work within the public right-of-way. 14. Contractor shall obtain all permits required by governmental agencies. 15. The contractor shall comply with all applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations. 16. A copy of the approved plan shall be kept in an easily accessible location on the site at all times during construction. 17. The extent and type of surface treatments/repairs indicated on the plans may not be all inclusive of the work that is needed. Additional repairs, paving, or replacement may be needed depending on field conditions. 18. The PIA Inspector shall verify that the "Saw-cut" line is located within competent pavement. Adjustments to the plan shall be documented and As-built; a two foot minimum shall be provided." 19. Contractor shall call Blue Stake as mandated by the Arizona Revised Statutes at 1-800-782-5348 before any construction begins to verify location of existing public utilities shown or not shown. Existing utility locations shown hereon are only approximate. It is the contractor's responsibility to confirm horizontal and vertical location of all utilities without damaging same. Damaged utilities shall be repaired at no expense to the City. 20. A Public Access Easement is required along the sidewalk area on Broadway Blvd. where the deceleration lane is to be installed. Indicate all recordation information such as easements, dedications, right-of-way. Existing pedestrian and utility easements should be shown on plan view with labels as to being public or private with docket/page or plat book/page. Correct and revise. 21. Indicate a road profile for Broadway Blvd to include Left, Center, Right, and the EOP of striped paved roadways. A road profile is needed for pavement widening projects (Deceleration/Acceleration lanes). Correct and revise. 22. Engineer of Record must provide written documentation that all utilities within the right of way have been cleared for construction. 23. Indicate proposed, relocation and existing storm drains in right-of-way as per the Drainage statement. A dimensioned detail for each type of drainage structure in the right-of-way to be built as part of the project must be shown. Indicate flow arrows to indicate drainage direction. Correct and revise. 24. A hinge point of slope/basin must have a minimum of 2-foot from right-of-way. (Slope on private side). D.S. 11-09.3 Indicate correction(s) on pavement structural details. 25. Scuppers are required for sidewalks and curb to create a continuous sidewalk pedestrian circulation system.10-yr storm water flows must be conveyed under sidewalk and Storm flows over the 10-yr overtopping the sidewalk scupper must meet: DV^2 <18. Correct and revise. 26. Sheet 3, Indicate which notes are to be used for Rosemont Blvd. right-of-way. 27. Indicate a dimensioned and labeled detail for 2-foot Saw-cut, Trim, Tack, Join & Match existing. 28. No private utilities, irrigation or backflow preventors are allowed in right-of-way. 29. Apply all conditions/requirements as related to Pavement Cut Moratorium, Major Streets & Routes - (arterial & collector) future, widening, tapering and turn lanes. 30. Curve and line data must be provided in table format. Indicate curb return radii. 31. Differing structural pavement sections on plan shall be specific to each street affected. Include a dimensioned pavement structural section for each. Indicate Mix # / Effective air voids (Per SSPI), 5.5% MSR, 4.0% Local. 32. Indicate a dimensioned detail for each type of curb access ramp to be built as part of the project must be shown. Truncated Domes required. 33. A dimensioned detail for each type of sidewalk structure to be built as part of the project must be shown. 34. See redlines for other needed corrections. Once changes, modifications, and or corrections are made to the PIA plan resubmitted and reviewed, further comment may result. See redlines for additional corrections.
