Single word sentences are unacceptable. Include plans/redlines from previous plan submittal. 2. Attached is a copy of the required Title Block to be used on PIA Plans. Correct and revise. 3. Indicate the assigned I-Plan Number "I-2006-092" to all sheets. 4. Submit a copy of the approved Geotechnical Report.A Geotechnical Report is required for submittals and must include pavement section and reference soil recommendation for public roads. 5. Submit a copy of the approved PAD-11, Ordinance No. 10197 referencing all right-of-way issues to this project. 6. Indicate the Administrative address for project. 7. Indicate Developer and Owner's name. 8. Add note to General Construction Notes: All concrete shall conform to PC/COT SSPI Section 1006, Class S, 3,000 PSI compressive strength at 28 days, unless otherwise specified. 9. Add note to General Construction Notes: All changes to these plans must be cleared by the City of Tucson City Engineer's Permits and Codes Section, prior to construction. 10. Add note to General Construction Notes: The City shall not be held liable for any errors and/or omissions on these plans. Items not meeting City Standards shall be repaired/replaced at no cost to the City. 11. Add note to General Construction Notes: The Engineer of Record shall submit to the City for acceptance any changes to the approved plans prior to construction. Additionally, the Engineer of Record shall certify all changes meeting all applicable standards, codes, and ordinances. 12. Add note to General Construction Notes: A Soils Engineer shall conduct Quality Control material and inspection testing in accordance to City Standards and Specifications at no cost to the City. 13. Add note to General Construction Notes: An excavation permit shall be obtained from the City of Tucson Transportation Department prior to any work within the Public right-of-way. 14. Add note to General Construction Notes: A pre-construction field meeting shall be conducted with the City of Tucson Transportation inspector prior to any work within the public right-of-way. 15. Add note to General Construction Notes: Contractor shall obtain all permits required by governmental agencies. 16. Add note to General Construction Notes: The contractor shall comply with all applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations. 17. Add note to General Construction Notes: The extent and type of surface treatments/repairs indicated on the plans may not be all inclusive of the work that is needed. Additional repairs, paving, or replacement may be needed depending on field conditions. 18. Add note to General Construction Notes: The PIA Inspector shall verify that the "saw cut" line is located within competent pavement. Adjustments to the plan shall be documented and As-built; a one foot minimum shall be provided." 19. Add note to General Construction Notes: Upon commencement of work, traffic control devices shall be posted and maintained by the contractor until such time as the work is completed. All warning signs barricades etc. shall be in accordance with the manual on uniform traffic control devices adopted by the State of Arizona pursuant to A.R.S. 28-065. Contact Traffic Engineering, 791-4259, 48-hours prior to placing or removing any said traffic control devices. 20. Add note to General Construction Notes: Contractor shall call Blue Stake as mandated by the Arizona Revised Statutes at 1-800-782-5348 before any construction begins to verify location of existing public utilities shown or not shown. Existing utility locations shown hereon are only approximate. It is the contractor's responsibility to confirm horizontal and vertical location of all utilities without damaging same. Damaged utilities shall be repaired at no expense to the City. 21. Add note to General Construction Notes: Signage and striping should be coordinated with Traffic Engineering and installed at no expense to the public. Call Traffic Engineering at 791-4259 prior to the installation or removal of striping and signage. 22. Engineer of Record must provide written documentation that all utilities within the right of way have been cleared for construction. 23. Sheet 2, a road profile to include Left, Center, Right, and the EOP of striped paved roadways is required. Correct and revise. 24. Indicate a dimensioned detail of the curb access ramp to be built as part of the project. Truncated Domes required. 25. Sheet 2, Remove outline of trees and shrubs. 26. Sheet 2, use a light pen weight to indicate private property. 27. Sheet 2, Hinge point of slope/basin must be a minimum of 2-foot from fight-of-way. (Slope on private side). Indicate a cross section detail of right-of-way and water harvesting area. 28. As per the approved Tentative plat it shows the 100-year floodplain limits to be within the road way improvement. A Floodplain Use Permit is required for any construction on private or public property. A Floodplain Use Permit review is required by Development Services-Engineering section. Delineate 100-year floodplain on Sheet 2. 29. The Drainage Report does not demonstrate in how the off-site discharge will be accepted on-site. Also, the natural flows shall remain in its natural state without any obstructions. Justification is needed for the proposed curbing and 1-foot high berm in why it's not accepting the flows in its natural state. 30. Drainage design criteria for Local streets is given in Sec. 12.2 of Development Standard 10-02.0. The proposed paved road should show a dip crossing for the 100-year floodplain. Correct and revise. 31. Drainage Report, Exhibits A-C show solid black blocks. Correct for data to be read. 32. See redlines for additional comments. Once changes, modifications, and or corrections are made to the PIA plan resubmitted and reviewed, further comment may result. See redlines for additional corrections.
