Ortiz PE, Traffic Engineer Resubmittal Required: Traffic Engineering does not recommend approval of the PIA Plan; therefore a revised PIA Plan is required for re-submittal. Please resubmit Traffic Engineering's redlines generated during this review. The following items must be revised or added to the plan. 1. Include a response letter with the next submittal that states how all comments have been addressed. 2. For clarification to the following comments please see Traffic's redlines. 3. Median improvements are needed along Kino Parkway to prevent left turn maneuvers off of Cherry Lynn Street onto Kino Parkway. See redlines for information sheet 5 of 7. 4. Need to delineate the pork chop with OM 2-2V(AD) per PCDOT & TDOT Signing Manual (2002) Chap 9-5C and 9-17. 5. Along Benson HWY at State Avenue install an R6-1(R) "ONE WAY" Sign in the median per PCDOT & TDOT Signing Manual (2002) Chap 9-3A. 6. Sheet 7 of 7: Provide a 'ONE WAY' (R6-1) over the proposed (R1-1), but under the street names per PCDOT & TDOT Signing Manual (2002) Chap 9-3B. 7. If Cherry Lynn Street and State Avenue are public then install R2-1 (i.e. 25MPH Speed Limit Sign) at the proposed roadway entering this development off of Kino Parkway and Benson HWY per PCDOT & TDOT Signing Manual (2002) Chap 9-10. 8. Add symbols used for new street signs in the legend in accordance with Standard Details for Public Improvements, SD100, 2003 edition. 9. The typical section on sheet 2 Section C (Collector Street Cross Section) does not match the pavement marking as shown on sheets 5-7. Please revisit and clarify. Following comment 10 pertains and is affected by this comment. 10. If applicable, show no parking signs where there is to be no parking along State Avenue and Cherry Lynn Street. Provide signs in both plan and section. 11. Along Kino Parkway and Benson HWY place an additional 'RIGHT ONLY' (R3-5R ) sign at the beginning of the right turn lanes per PCDOT & TDOT Signing Manual (2002) Chap 9-5D 12. Provide a 'RIGHT LANE' (R3-5F) supplemental plaque under the new (R3-5R) along Golf Links Road. 13. See redlines for revisions required to the general notes on sheets 1 and 2. 14. Add the following Signing General Notes 1, 5(a), & 5(b) per PCDOT & TDOT Signing Manual (2002) (Chapter 1, Sheet 12) to the Plans. Add the following Pavement Marking/Striping General Notes to the Plans: 'ALL NON-SIGNALIZED INTERSECTION STREET NAMES MUST HAVE E-W BLOCK NUMBER ADDRESSES FOR E-W ROADWAYS AND N-S BLOCK NUMBER ADDRESSES FOR N-S ROADWAYS.'
