Ortiz PE, Traffic Engineer Resubmittal Required: Traffic Engineering does not recommend approval of the PIA Plan; therefore a revised PIA Plan is required for re-submittal. The following items must be revised or added to the plan. 1. Include a response letter with the next submittal that states how all comments have been addressed. 2. See redlines on the submitted drawings and address the additional redline comments. During the next submittal please re-submit the roll of redlines for back checking purposes. 3. Re-stripe the bike lane along Silverbell Road at the access point into this development per PCDOT & TDOT Pavement Marking Design Manual (200) Chapter 4-7. 4. Show existing striping in plan view to establish tie in points for the proposed striping. 5. Install R2-1 (25MPH Speed Limit Sign) at the proposed roadways entering this development off Silverbell Road per PCDOT & TDOT Signing Manual (2002) Chap 9-10. 6. Provide a 'RIGHT LANE' (R3-5F) supplemental plaque under the new (R3-5R) along Silverbell Road. 7. Parking is not allowed in all cul-de-sacs from PRC to the point opposite the PRC. So illustrate the No Parking sign locations on the plan view and in the typical section. (DS 3-01.0 fig 21) Provide a detail of the No Parking sign to be used. If needed, there is a detail attached to the red line plan set. 8. Place the City of Tucson PIA Case number on the cover sheet. 9. Add the following Pavement Marking/Striping General Notes to the Plans: 'ALL STREET STRIPING & SIGNAGE TO BE COORDINATED WITH C.O.T. The following comments need to be addressed in the next submittal. 1. Indicate book and page on cover sheet. Plat must be recorded before submittal of mylars for final review and approval. 2. Include the plan number "I-2006-076" in title block of each sheet. 3. If a flood plain use permit was issued for this project please include the following general note. "Floodplain Use Permit No._______, has been issued by Development Services Department for work impacting City and/or FEMA Floodplains." 4. Provide roadway capacity analysis and include the full size figures 5,6 and 7 of the drainage report. 5. List all lines used in this plan set in line legend. 6. Setbacks from cut and fill slopes must comply with Development standard 11-01.9.0. Note required setbacks from property boundary in cross sections and plan views. Additionally, barricade railing must be provided along any slope steeper than 4:1 and deeper than two (2) feet. 7. Slope easements must be provided for all cut and fill slopes adjacent to the roadway. Additionally indicate the proposed slope stabilization per the geotechnical report. 8. Provide a pavement structural section detail and indicate pavement mix. 9. The minimum roadway cross slope is 2%. 10. Depict and label all required easements (drainage & slope) in plan views and applicable cross sections, Additionally, include recordation information. 11. All proposed safety railing must be per PC/COT standards. 12. Curb access ramps must be aligned across from each other. 13. An 8' wide graded shoulder with a maximum 2% cross slope (pedestrian refuge area) must be provided for all stripped paved roadway sections. 14. Provide all details (stationing, structural, inverts, elevations and dimensions) for the proposed catch basins structures. Additionally, grates must be aligned so that the bearing bars are parallel with the direction of vehicular traffic. 15. Sheet 2: Keynote 37 refers to incorrect detail. 16. Sheet 3: Provide a driveway apron per Std. Dtl. 206 for the maintenance road at the south end of Kellen Canyon Court. 17. Sheet 3: Provide an opening in the median island (Kellen Canyon Court) for pedestrian access and provide details of opening. 18. Sheet 3: provide sidewalk scuppers for the proposed drainage swales at Sta. +/- 10+70 LT & RT (Kellen Canyon Court) and provide additional details for the erosion protection of these swales. 19. Provide a temporary turnaround at the south end of Dales Crossing Drive or provide approval from Tucson Fire Dept. and Environmental Services. A public access easement will be required if turnaround encroaches onto private property. 20. Sheet 3: provide sidewalk scuppers for the proposed drainage swales at Sta. +/- 10+50 LT & RT (Kippy Trail) and provide additional details for the erosion protection of these swales. 21. Indicate curb terminations per PC/COT Sta. Dtl. 212 at termination of curb on Kippy Trail. 22. Sheet 9: Pavement sections indicated in roadway cross sections do not correspond with recommended pavement alternatives as indicated in the Geotectnical Engineering Evaluation for this project. 23. Sheet 9: Indicate curb reveal in the roadway cross sections. 24. Sheet 9: Minimum sidewalk width is 5'. 25. Sheet 9, detail 3: Reference a ADOT details for box culvert, wings and headwall. 26. Sheet 9, Detail 8 and 11: Reference PC/COT standard detail or provide all structural details for sidewalk scupper. 27.
