Resubmittal Required: Traffic Engineering does not recommend approval of the PIA Plan; therefore a revised PIA Plan is required for re-submittal.

The following items must be revised or added to the plan.

1. Include a response letter with the next submittal that states how all comments have been addressed.

2. Sheet 5/5: Revise note 7 of the Signing Notes to read the following "On City of Tucson projects, all sign panels shall have Type IV ASTM sheeting."

3. Comment # 3 from the T06PI00039 review (dated Aug. 18, 2006) maybe more appropriate on this PIA. Please address that comment on this PIA (comment noted below)

"Install two R1-1 "Stop Signs" with street names at the two proposed roadways entering this development off of Silverbell Road per PCDOT & TDOT Signing Manual (2002) Chap 5-11, 5-12, and Chap 9-2."

4. Add the following Pavement Marking/Striping General Notes to the Plans:

'ALL STREET STRIPING & SIGNAGE TO BE COORDINATED WITH C.O.T. TRAFFIC ENGINEERING CALL 791-4259 A MINIMUM OF 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THE INSTALLATION OR REMOVAL OF ANY SIGNAGE OR STRIPING.

'ALL NON-SIGNALIZED INTERSECTION STREET NAMES MUST HAVE E-W BLOCK NUMBER ADDRESSES FOR E-W ROADWAYS AND N-S BLOCK NUMBER ADDRESSES FOR N-S ROADWAYS.'

PROJECT REVIEWER: Richard Leigh, Senior Engineering Associate Permits and Codes Section

RESUBMITTAL REQUIRED: Permits and Codes Section has reviewed the PIA Plan and does not recommend approval of the PIA Plan at this time. The following comments need to be addressed in the next submittal.

1. Indicate book and page on cover sheet. Plat must be recorded before submittal of mylars for final review and approval.

2. Include the plan number "I-2006-073" in title blocks.

3. Provide the projects administrative address on cover sheet.

4. If a flood plain use permit was issued for this project please include FUP# in general notes. "Floodplain Use Permit No._______, has been issued by Development Services Department for work impacting City and/or FEMA Floodplains."

5. Submit a copy of the geotectecnical report supporting the proposed pavement structural sections.

6. Indicate the limits of the proposed return headers at the proposed roadway intersections with Silverbell Road.

7. Will the proposed roadway intersections with Silverbell Road alter flows in the shoulder of the road?

8. Sheet 2 & 3: Provide stationing, offsets and elevations for the proposed edge of pavement on roadway profile.

9. Sheet 3: indicate vertical scale.

10. Provide recordation information for the proposed slope easement on the west side of Silverbell Road. Additionally, indicate slope grade and proposed stabilization for the proposed slope.
