Ortiz PE, Traffic Engineer Resubmittal Required: Traffic Engineering does not recommend approval of the PIA Plan; therefore a revised PIA Plan is required for re-submittal. The following items must be revised or added to the plan. 1. Include a response letter with the next submittal that states how all comments have been addressed. 2. Provide dimensions of the cul-de-sac to ensure that the Development Standards are met, and to determine whether No Parking signs are warranted. 3. If parking is not allowed in cul-de-sacs then signs need to be placed from PRC to PRC. If applicable, indicate No Parking on the plans by showing no parking signs. (DS 3-01.0 fig 20) (straight cul-de-sac) 4. If applicable, provide a detail of the No Parking signs to be used. Attached with this comment letter are the details of the 'NO PARKING" signs that the city requires. 5. Maintain 12 feet of separation between proposed curb cuts in the cul de sac. Shared driveways may be required to maintain the 12' separation, but be advised that no more then 2 lots can be serviced by a single driveway (3 or more lots would warrant a road). 6. On sheet 2 of 2 the labels/titles of the details are screened back and are difficult to read. The text needs to be darkened.
