The proposed curb line does not tie into the existing curb line. Please clarify and confirm limits of work. 3. Illustrate the location of signage along Private Street A that is in public right of way (i.e. STOP SIGN, R1-1). 4. Install an R6-1(R) "ONE WAY" Sign in the median per PCDOT & TDOT Signing Manual (2002) Chap 9-3A. 5. Provide an end median signage treatment per PCDOT & TDOT Signing Manual (2002) Chap 9-4A & 9-4B. 6. Add symbols used for all new signs in the legend in accordance with Standard Details for Public Improvements, SD100, 2003 edition. 10. Sheet 1: Revise note 29. The note should refer to the City of Tucson and not Pima County. 11. This project requires minimal pavement marking due to the revisions to the median along Stone Avenue. Therefore add the following 8 General Notes per PCDOT & TDOT Pavement Marking Design Manual (2002) Chapter 2-1: Notes 1, 2, 5, 10, 13, 14, 16 and 17. 12. Add the following Signing General Notes 1, 2, 5(a) & 5(b) per PCDOT & TDOT Signing Manual (2002) (Chapter 1, Sheet 12) to the Plans. 13. | 08/17/2006 | LANCE PETERSON | DOT STREET MAINTENANCE | REVIEW | Denied | We have reviewed these plans and have the following comments: 1. Sheet 1 - Need a Streets and Traffic Maintenance signature block. 2. Note 12- This note mentions meeting codes for the Town of Oro Valley and should be the City of Tucson. 3. Sheet 2 - Landscaped Medians - Is there a plan that shows the proposed landscaping for the medians? Landscape Comments: 1. You need 4" sleeves that cross from the west side to the median for the irrigation. 2. South end landscaping should match the north end. 3. Coordinate any irrigation with Paul Rosenboom, Street Maintenance Supervisor, 791-5279 ext 234, or 237-7386. No further comments. 8/17/06 |
