06/15/2006 LANCE PETERSON DOT STREET MAINTENANCE REVIEW Denied We have reviewed these plans and have the following comments:

Sheet 2 of 4 - Placito de los Aviones and Fontana Ave refer to details A/4 and B/4 respectively. These should be A/3 and B/3.
Sheet 2 of 4 - Who will be responcible for maintaining common area "A"/ detention area? If the City will be responcible, we will need an access point for maintenance.

1. Sheet 2 of 4: Detail call-out A/4 is not in sheet 4? Please revise.
2. Sheet 2 of 4: Detail call-out B/4 is not in sheet 4? Please revise.
3. Sheet 3 of 4: Section A/2 states 3.5" AC over 4" ABC, will the AC be placed in one lift?
4. Sheet 3 of 4: Detail 3, why is an easement needed for the sidewalk? Revise detail (like detail 2) so as to keep the sidewalk and ramp within the r/w.
5. Sheet 3 of 4: Detail 1, why is this detail needed? Remove detail if not needed.
6. Sheet 3 of 4: Detail 2-Plan View, call out curb transition.
7. Sheet 3 of 4: Detail 2-Plan View, this detail calls out for warped sidewalk transition from existing sidewalk to new ramp? The sidewalk must not be warped. Revise detail so that transition is in compliance to ADA requirements.
8. Sheet 4 of 4: Detail E/4, indicate scupper railing and r/w line.
9. Sheet 4 of 4: Detail 4, include removable post barricades for the proposed detention base access.
10. Sheet 4 of 4: Detail D/4, proposed depressed sidewalk is not acceptable. Provide flows under the sidewalk (via a scupper) for the 10-year event.
