The applicant is authorized to use a portion of the City of Tucson property described as (legal description): BRONX PARK LOT 4 & N2 ABAND ALLEY BLK 54

1. This permit is for the purpose of construction of a new single-family residence within a mapped Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA), Zone AE, as shown on the Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM), Community Panel No. 040076-04019C-2226K, effective date February 8, 1999.

2. The proposed development is impacted by the regulatory floodplain. For purposes of this permit, the following elevation requirements apply:

Base Flood Elevation (BFE) = 2357.8 feet per the National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD '29)
Regulatory Flood Elevation (RFE) = 2358.8 feet per the National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD '29)

Service facilities, such as electrical equipment, shall be constructed at or above the RFE and either be placed on flood proof materials or be adequately flood proofed.

A Building Under Construction Elevation Certificate, completed and certified by an Arizona Registered Land Surveyor, must be returned to the Engineering Division of the Development Services Department. A hold will be placed on the slab inspection (P2S) until the Elevation Certificate has been returned and approved.

A Finished Construction Elevation Certificate, completed and certified by an Arizona Registered Land Surveyor, must be returned to the Engineering Division and approved prior to final inspections.

3. Any additional improvements, including block walls or fences, will require a separate Floodplain Use Permit prior to construction.
