The Floodplain Use Permit cannot be approved as submitted. Please include a response letter to the comments along with the corrected copies of the Grading Plan with your next submittal.

Floodplain Use Permit comments:
1. Please show on the Grading Plan the limits of the Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA) floodplain as shown on FIRM Panel No. 04019C2855K.

Please note that until a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) has been issued by FEMA all lots that lie within the mapped SFHA are required to have a Floodplain Use Permit and an Elevation Certificate. Additionally, flood insurance is mandatory for all federally backed mortgages or loans for any structures built in a SFHA until the LOMR is approved and made effective.
