IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS.

1. On Sheet E5.0 Details B and C, the size of the Grounding Electrode Conductor between the service disconnect and the ground rods, and between the service disconnect and the building piping system, shall be 3/0, not 1/0. Reference NEC Table 250.66, NEC 250.104 (A).
2. Specifications 16450 3.02 G refer to NEC Table 250-95. There is no such table in the 2002 NEC. Please clarify.
3. On fault calculations, I3 = 34,338A, not 21,000A. Please note that the City of Tucson does not allow current limiting characteristics of overcurrent protective devices to attenuate fault current, except for single motor loads.
4. Specify the actual overcurrent protective devices on the plans in as much as they are referenced to limit peak let-through current. Even if they are existing, note this as such. In certain cases where available fault current for new services exceeds the rating of load side devices, the City has allowed the use of such current-limiting devices to attenuate fault current, but this is done on a case-by-case basis.
5. "c" value for F4 appears to be 8925, not 5906.
6. It appears that the starting point for F5 should be 34,338A, not 46,092.
7. It appears that the starting point for F6 should be 34,338A, not 46,092.
8. It appears that the conduit to be run along the Automobile Maintenance Facility Ceiling falls under the category Wiring in Spaces Above Class I Locations. Please specify the conduit type on the plans, and make explicit the exact height of the Wall Penetration covered in Keynotes 1 and 6 on Sheet E3.1.
