| 07/24/2008 | LINDA BUCZYNSKI | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | TRANSMIT ORIGINAL DRAWINGS WITH NEXT SUBMITTAL. PLEASE CALL AT 520.837.4907 OR EMAIL AT Linda.Buczynski@tucsonaz.gov IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS. 1. Water Heater is 240V, on Sheet C-1 and cut sheet, 208V on Electrical Power Plan. On the cut sheet the 208V WH is a different model. Coordinate among disciplines and clarify. 2. Provide location on plans for Outside Cold Box and Walk-In Cooler. PREVIOUS COMMENT. 3. EC-1 cancelled by Owner according to load calculations. However, this equipment is still called for on Sheet MP-1 and on the electrical line diagram. Please clarify. 4. Sheet MP-1 Equipment Schedule calls for EC-1, EF-1, CU-1, and C-1. Provide electrical circuits, and use the same equipment designations. PREVIOUS COMMENT. Indicate panel and circuit number for C-1. 5. Provide load calculations for Panel L. Separate load calculations for the electrical service. Lighting at 125%, and include exterior fixture. Add 25% for largest motor. PREVIOUS COMMENT. Load calculations performed on a 3-phase basis. Panel and other electrical loads set up on a single-phase basis. Clarify. 6. 20-Receptacles would account for a minimum of 3600VA, not 2880. 7. Panel L is set up as a single phase panel. At 120/208V, per the schedule itself, this would be a three phase panel. PREVIOUS COMMENT. 8. Add the following to Load Calculations: Outside cold Box, Walk-In Fan, Water Heater, Walk-In Cooler. PREVIOUS COMMENT. 9. Revise the font size used on the drawings to a minimum of 1/8-inch (all upper case). Reference Section 106.1.1, IBC 2006. PREVIOUS COMMENT. 10. Document location of TEP transformer on scaled drawing. 11. In the fault calculations 3/0 is used on the line side of the meter. On the line diagram, this is 600 KCMIL. Clarify. 12. On the line diagram, there is a circuit breaker inside of the meter enclosure. Clarify. 13. Fault calculations will be reviewed after 3-phase vs. single-phase service is clarified. 14. Date your revisions according to the Rules and Regulations of the Arizona State board of Technical Registration. As the electrical plans stand, they were previously reviewed 7/1/08, then sealed 6/19/08 and turned back in for review 7/14/08. This is a faulty chronology, for the revision triangle is not associated with any date. |
