| 07/01/2008 | LINDA BUCZYNSKI | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | TRANSMIT ORIGINAL DRAWINGS WITH NEXT SUBMITTAL. PLEASE CALL AT 520.837.4907 OR EMAIL AT Linda.Buczynski@tucsonaz.gov IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS. 1. Water Heater is 240V, on Sheet C-1, 120V on Sheet MP-1, but on Electrical Power Plan this is 240V. Coordinate among disciplines and clarify. 2. Response and photographs for previous comments indicate that Water heater is cord connected. Water Heater is hard wired according to the plans. 3. Provide location on plans for Outside Cold Box and Walk-In Cooler. 4. Walk-In Fan appears on its own feeder on a 2-pole disconnect and on single pole Ckt L-17. Please clarify. 5. Sheet MP-1 Equipment Schedule calls for EC-1, EF-1, CU-1, and C-1. Provide electrical circuits, and use the same equipment designations. 6. Provide load calculations for Panel L. Separate load calculations for the electrical service. Lighting at 125%, and include exterior fixture. Add 25% for largest motor. 7. Panel L is set up as a single phase panel. At 120/208V, per the schedule itself, this would be a three phase panel. 8. Add the following to Load Calculations: Outside cold Box, Walk-In Fan, Water Heater, Walk-In Cooler. 9. Provide overcurrent protection to all feeders, not just the sizing of their disconnects. 10. Revise the font size used on the drawings to a minimum of 1/8-inch (all upper case). Reference Section 106.1.1, IBC 2006. 11. Fault calculations will be reviewed after font size revised. Can not read. |
