PLEASE CALL AT 520.837.4907 OR EMAIL AT Linda.Buczynski@tucsonaz.gov IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS. 1. Provide documentation that Water Heater is cord-connected, or provide local disconnect. 2. Water Heater is 240V, but on Electrical Power Plan L-28 is a 120V outlet. 3. PROVIDE COMPLETE SET OF PREVIOUSLY APPROVED PLANS. This comment was made on the review of 2/13/08. As best as we can determine an evaporative cooler was crossed out on the current submittal, but it was there on the approved plans. Current submittal is on Revision 3 on Sheet E-1, but this is also the last dated Revision on our archived approved plans. Date and nature of revision to plans has to be indicated. Reference Arizona State Board of Technical Registration R4-30-304. 4. Same as comment above for change of poles on Water Heater overcurrent protective device on panel schedule. 5. Same as comments above for Electrical Load Calculation. 6. Add the following to Load Calculations: Beverage Cases, Ice Machine, Walk-In Fan, receptacle loads. 7. Division by 1.74 not valid. This is single phase, not three phase. 8. Study NEC Article 220, then revisit load calculations. 9. Arizona State Board of Technical Registration Statutes 32-143 Exceptions, states: A registrant under this chapter may engage in practice in another category regulated pursuant to this chapter only to the extent that the person is qualified and to the extent that the work may be necessary and incidental to the work of the registrant's profession on a specific project. Based upon the plans and in accordance with the State Board of Technical Registration Rules, this plan should be designed and sealed by an Arizona Registered Professional Electrical Engineer. |
