3. Demonstrate compliance with the Tucson Lighting Code, http://www.tucsonaz.gov/dsd/Codes___Ordinances/Tucson_Lighting_Code.pdf. Reference Sheet E2.4 Detail 4.
4. On Sheet E1.1, Keynote 16.W24 appears to contradict the panel/circuit designation HC-34.
5. On Sheet E2, Detail 1, the note regarding circuit loading appears to contradict the loads indicated on Panel L2D.
6. Address disconnecting means for coolers on Sheet E2, Detail 1. Reference NEC 422 Part III.
7. Ckt L1F-1 powers busway on Sheet E2, Detail 3. This Ckt is part of a 3-P breaker on the Panel Schedule. Please clarify.
8. Refrigeration Electrical Equipment Schedule on Sheet RE1, #MT-R3A provides a 30A CB for a 31.67A load. Please clarify.
9. Equipment #MT-R3A a 31.67A load, would have 3.80 KVA, not 2.78. Reference Panel L2R Sheet E4.1.
10. For the Busway BL1A, and L1F and L2D panel schedule load calculations, please reference the exact demand factor used and Code Section in Article 220. Note that 220.13 demand factors may only be applied to receptacle loads computed at not more than 180 VA per outlet.
11. Provide the feeder size for Panel L1U. Reference Sheet E4.1 Panel Schedule L1F.
12. Phase B of Panel HC appears to be overloaded, considering continuous loading. Reference Sheet E4.1.
13. Did not see location of Transformer TPL on the plans.
14. If Transformer TG is existing, please indicate on Riser Diagram. Otherwise, add to Transformer Schedule.
15. The #4 GR on the secondary to TD is properly sized at #2, not #4. Reference NEC Table 250.66.
16. For the Panel HB panel schedule load calculations, please reference the exact demand factor used and Code Section in Article 220. Note that 220.13 demand factors may only be applied to receptacle loads computed at not more than 180 VA per outlet. Additionally, it appears that loads on CKT 1,3,5, are 25.41, 24.55, and 12.84 VA, not 24.16, 24.05, and 11.59 VA, respectively. It appears that loads on CKT 49,51,53 are 49.45, 50.98, and 48.94 VA, not 35.69, 36.49, and 38.56 VA, respectively. It appears that CKT 43 load is 8.98 VA, not 7.44. Panel HB, its feeder and circuit rating appear to be overloaded at 662.30 A.
17. Provide load calculations for Switchboard MSWB. Connected Loads Table shows a 10 HP New Motor, but N/A in other columns. Demand factors for continuous load shown as 1.00. It may add clarity to simply add new loads to existing peak demand after such demand has been adjusted according to the requirements of NEC 220.35 and after power factor has been taken into consideration.
18. MSWB, with AFC of 20,647, is rated for only 14,000 AIC.
